Releasing DIRAC2 Version 2.1 With Pitch Correction

November 9th, 2009 — The DSP Dimension is happy to announce version 2.1 of DIRAC. Version 2.1 is available for download as of today and fixes several bugs that could affect performance and precision. Most importantly, polyphonic formant correction could produce unpredictable results with previous versions and pitch shifting could sometimes affect the length of the processed audio. All these bugs are fixed in version 2.1 and due to popular demand we have upgraded and re-enabled pitch correction in the latest version. DIRAC LE on all platforms offers pitch correction on a equitempered scale while the PRO version adds support for arbitrary tuning tables and direct pitch manipulation. Please see the README file that comes with DIRAC and the DIRAC product page for more information.

i extract data of aiff files/wav files then store them into an array, then i use that array as the input array for smbPitchShift but my program keeps on crashing…what am i doing wrong?

This relates to smbPitchShift and not DIRAC, right? I’m asking because you’re commenting on a DIRAC article… Can you post some source code, preferably in our forum so we can take a look? It’s hard to tell without knowing what you are doing.
